Ruthlessly block distractions

I keep returning to a false belief that I can “will myself” to turn off distractions. But that’s not how it works.

Distractions, like all bad habits, bounce back whenever I’m emotional, or just tired.

Stop fooling yourself.

Make it harder to be distracted. Delete the app. Install a site blocker. Don’t buy sweets.

You will be uncomfortable at first. But you will feel better soon, because you won’t be distracted.
