Maintaining momentum

Learning from Dicke Bush:

  1. Objects in motion tend to stay in motion. Objects at rest tend to stay at rest.
  2. Progress comes from ruthless protection of momentum.
  3. The best way to keep momentum is to avoid things that kill it.
  4. Momentum is addicting and leads to more momentum. Lack of momentum is stagnating and leads to more stagnation.
  5. It takes way less effort to keep momentum than you think.
  6. It takes way less time to lose momentum than you think.
  7. Society is set up to constantly kill your momentum.
  8. The simplest daily goal is to maintain momentum for each of your commitments.
  9. There are 3 time periods to measure momentum: micro, meso, and macro. When you have all 3, you’re unstoppable.
  10. Friction is the enemy of momentum. Ease is its best friend.

Remove friction. Maintain momentum. When things stop, put real effort into getting them moving again.
