Copy Others

I’ve been taking action poorly for a long time, and I didn’t know why. This weekend I saw this clip on X where Charlie Morgan explains that copying others is a great way to learn and move faster. He believes we learn in school that we shouldn’t copy others, we should figure out our own way of doing it.

I’m not sure we learn this in school. It could be that this is just our ego trying to convince us that we need to be unique and special, an insidious way to procrastinate on taking action.

Regardless of the reason, I’ve convinced he’s right about avioding copying. It resonates well with my own experience. So let’s go and copy someone! Take what others are doing that works, and do the same thing.
